How To Take Care of The Singer’s Voice
The reasons singers find themselves in vocal problems is they do not take care of their voices. So, how do you take care of your voice if you are a singer?
A voice needs water, rest, and good warm up techniques. Without this daily routine the voice can and will likely break down. I work with many singers, who come in with various vocal problems due to a lack of caring for their voices or working with vocal techniques that have actually harmed their voices.
Take Care OF Your VOICE
- I suggest drinking at least 5-6 bottles of water combined with your going on as much voice rest as possible when your voice is hoarse.
- When you are sick get to a doctor immediately – please do not linger and allow laryngitis to set in to cause hoarseness for up to two or three weeks.
- Make sure you are working with great vocal techniques. I have used my vocal builder techniques and have experienced success with singers, signed and unsigned.
These simple routines are sure to enable any singer to achieve a long and successful singing career.
